I reckon SETs - and hearing detail and dynamics at lower volumes, especially through upper bass and midrange - generally favour drivers with low mechanical losses, in addition to the usual requirements. For bass drivers, I'd think light weight voice coils (shorter, smaller diameter, light formers and windings) and cones. This often means the Qms will be high, but a well designed system shouldn't have significant issues with that.
My guess is many big cone with big motor "pro" drivers just don't make sense in a domestic environment, but some will!
Not sure where the Cornwall fits in with that though...
