You probably wouldn't like it. The design pre-dates T/S specs, so it's hit or miss. You can use any eight inch driver? No. Also, being a rear loader there's going to be a midbass response hole where the front and rear waves cancel each other. And where's the tweeter? Maybe it's only supposed to be used with AM radio? It's an interesting article, but pretty much every statement made by the author was rendered to the dustbin a year earlier by Neville Thiele, though it would be 1971 before his work was revealed to the audio world in general by the AES.
