No reasonably sized horn, folded or not would go low enough to be a subwoofer without equalization which would defeat the use of a complex horn. You'd need a horn of well over 10 feet in length and a huge mouth of over say 6 square feet. This why the Klipschorn is a corner horn using the walls to reinforce the bass and it still doesn't cover the bottom octave.
And I recall decades ago Percy Wilson, a British expert on horns telling me there were two thing you shouldn't do with bass horns. Don't make them out of wood. And don't fold them.
