This is well known, as is the procedure for time aligning the HF horn. The leads of the HF driver are reversed, a sine wave at the crossover frequency is played through the system, the HF horn is moved back and forth until a sound meter shows the lowest reading. Then the HF driver leads are put back to the correct polarity. It might be found on the Lansing Heritage site.
