While they are not the particular models you mentioned I do use First Watt solid state amps, a pair of F3 stereo amps, to power wide range horns, AER MD3s in Oris 150 horns (180 Hz to 8kHz),and Fostex t900a bullet tweeters. The First Watt amps replaced Cary Audio 2a3 SET mono blocks. The change from the SETs to the solid state First Watts improved the sound of my triamplified horn rig. The sound still has the immediacy and tonal purity of the SETs but without tube angst. On good solo piano recordings the First Watts give the most realistic sound I have ever had in my home other than when I play our piano.
