J Phelan,

You could have a nice system by going to Great Plains audio and get a pair of their Altec remake 604 drivers and make or have made an 8 to 11 cf. box. There a several plans on the net for you to take your pick. I have heard 2 systems using the 604 driver and they sound excellent.

Foe a lot less then 10k you could add suba. Good luck.
