bare, I totally agree with you about class A amps and about Nelson Pass designs. My triamplified DIY horn speakers use Pass First Watt F-3 single ended, single gain stage, pure class A, J-FET output amps for the mids (actually wide range) and highs. A Pass Labs X-150 stereo amp powers the woofers. The X-150 is only Class A for the first ten watts, but the Bill Fitzmaurice designed folded corner horn woofers I use almost never call for ten watts much less more.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
