OMG! Why didn't I think of a jig like this?! Instead, I cut one vertical rib (3/4" birch ply)then glued to both sides another piece of the same and used router to trim it to the original rib. And so on - all the way to the desired width of 10". But now I need to cut this thing from 10" in the front to 2.5" in the back (the piece is 6.25 think) and I have no idea how to accomplish that. Yes, doing it by hand with a handsaw is always an option, but the cut will not be very precise (which means a lot of sanding) and will probably take a good part of my weekend...
