Badman, it appears to me that you are living up to your name.
Your original statement, "Now, it's just a pay for tag deal. And people buy into it. "I can have THX sound in my living room!" Well.. yeah. It just won't be very good." This statement gave me and apparently also Mr. Hammel the impression you were alleging that THX certification guaranteed one would have bad sound.
Your followup posts appear to me to be unrelated to your original statement. In fact not only will tiny speakers or for that matter 1960s transistor power amps guarantee bad sound, but neither of those are the fault of THX processing.,
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
