Back in 1989 I used K-mart modeling clay warmed in the microwave to damp the stamped steel baskets of Dynaudio drivers I used in a seven enclosure all Dynaudio driver home theater rig I built. I mainly mention this now to add that I put all my left over modeling clay in a large unsealed paper envelope and tossed it on a shelf in my workshop. Twenty-one years later i9t is still soft and gooey. That fact impresses me.

As a matter of fact the designer/manufacturer reccomends that the horn not be damped, but then what does he know? That's one reason I intend to use something like Mortite which I hope I can remove without messing up the Lexus Black Cherry paint on the horns.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
