Which would you prefer for 300-1500 Hz duty?

Thanks a lot for responding! The Altec 290 looks smoother and more extended than the JBL 2482. Which would your prefer for 300-1500 Hz duty?

I already have a pair of Community M200's, which sound good, but I doubt whether they would load down to 300 cycles even on a really big horn (they rolled off around 500 Hz on a pair of 320 Hz Jabo KH-50 horns I had at some point). If you happen to know whether the M200 would load down to 300 on, say, a 200 Hz horn LeCleach, I would very much like to know!
