EV 12TRXB Question? Help Please!

I have a pair of the cast frame EV 12trxb's that want to access the crossover/caps. How do I take the center cap off without harming it? I couldn't find anything in the archives either.

Also what are the cap values and any recommendations for best replacements? I have one of my pair that needs some attention.

I have some vintage cabinets and I want to do the work before installation.

I have already emailed Terry on the EV website with these same questions.
