And yes, it is a LOT easier to fidle around with digital crossovers than passive ones:-)
One nice feature of the GroundSound DCN23, that I use, is that you can change crossover points, slopes, etc. while playing, which means that A-B comparisons are very easy to do. Another nice feature is that they can incorporate measurements of drivers and base eventual eq directly on these.
