RE: BEST cone driver for specific conical horn?

Hi James,

Interesting to hear about your speakers! At some point I actually considered getting a vintage 2" JBL 2482 with phenolic diaphragm in a large tractrix instead of a cone driver for the mids. May I ask how the 2" JBL 2485 sound relative to the horn loaded Lowther? I understand that the horn loaded Lowther is better, but in what way? Thanks!
