Hey Bill,
Floor vibration is the problem I wish to address. The floor in my old house is carpet, pad and 3/4" particle board over 1X4 solid pine subfloor, but whenever I play large powerful subwoofers with strong 20Hz and below output (I have another pair in addition to the HT Tubas.) the floor vibrates like a drum head.
I am a huge fan of the Home Theater Tubas, and I can only believe that damping the floor vibrations and the obvious movement of the enclosures this allows will improved the overall bass sound.
