Ping Dr. Edgar & Others re: sand boxes

Dr. Edgar,

In a previous thread you mentioned using sand boxes under the bottom plate of horn woofers or subwoofers when those horn woofers are sitting on a plywood floor. Will you please provide a general description of such a sand box so that I can build a pair to place under my corner horn subwoofers.
