Couldn't find much info on the web. May I assume this is a powered sub? If not, how are you driving it and where are you taking an input from. Your integrated amp or pre-amp needs a mono sub out to feed the amp driving the sub.
I'm in the dark here until I know how this sub is wired into the main system. Once I know that I think I can advise in regards to positioning and balancing outputs (sonic) of the JBLs and the Velodyne.
Integrating subs is always challenging and requires patience and much experimentation.
