Home High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

I am using HornResp, but....

I do not know where the impedance peak is supposed to "be" in the above situation. The point is, that according to HornResp the SPL response does not chance much when changing the back chamber volume within certain limits (e.g. 2-6 liters). So, I would really like to know the theoretically "correct" approach to decide the optimal volume of the back chamber in order to use the horn within the 160-1000 Hz range.

Should the impedance peak be at, below, or above the desired crossover point, or????

IF the impedance peak should be at the desired crossover point, then the back chamber will have to be really small!?

I would really appreciate your expert advice on this, thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion regarding vertical stacking. The setup on the picture is only a prelininary attempt. I will have a more carefull setup of the two smaller horns when the low-mid horn works satisfactory.

Best regards
Peter
