RE: Waveguide for BMS H4592 ND 2" Coaxial Compression Driver

Hi Scooter,

I have used Bentwood 200 horns and Jabo KH-50 horns for the BMS 4592 ND. The Bentwood 200 is a 200 Hz rectangular horn with an exponential flare about 30" wide and 15" high (26" deep) and will load the BMS straight down to 250 Hz. The Jabo is a smaller circular horn (app. 310 Hz flare rate) also with an exponential flare. The Jabo is about 13" long and about 19.5" in diameter. The Jabo will load the BMS down to 320 Hz. The Bentwood horns have a wider sweet spot, while I find the Jabo horns to sound more natural in the highs. However, I have never managed to get rid of some harshness in the treble with the BMS... You will find more info on these horns on Ebay where they are both sold.

Best regards
Peter
