Hi Freddi,
The Karlson has tremendous hit, but may smear the cello sound a bit.
It is a question of balance.
I tried to create the most hit, without boomyness in the K-Horn. There is very little cancellation from front and rear wave, plus it is a single driver full range horn. There is a gentle rise from 780Hz to 200hz- purposely built in for just the right amount of hit.
I have posted a curve of Karlson, vs RCA-fan K-horn ( outdoor tests) and finally the on my own blog.
