folded horn are of interest - most 18" fs are set 1/2-1 octave too low (?)

I only mentioned the 18" with the very high fs for reflex or sealed box loading, to see if it would sound like a horn.
I would say an 18" is way too big for 100Hz horn operation
how much mouth is really needed to get "good horn sound"? is there a simple fold for diy-er which has low coloration?

how about the open baffle camp? can they get some of the sound with enough cone area?

I don't like drivers that are not loaded properly.
If distortion is no concern, you need about a 5 x5 ft piece of wood with four 15". Very poor loading, I just don't like them.
