I think it was the "B" that had the fabric. There is nothing wrong with fabric. You can see the sun through fabric.
The fabric surround is an open weave cloth that is put into a die, and sized with glue and heat to form the rolls.
The LC1 did not use the "sticky Stuff" on the surrounds.
If the reflecting domes are in good shape, and the tweeter works, it will sound fine. the fabric units are worth less than the paper units.
You can not see through the paper.
