if you buy 4 caps, you can fiddle with them.
I had one of the EMI, with a horn in the top. The woofer/mid, sound very smooth, but a little soft compared to an RCA SL12 for example.
They were quite the rage when they came out. the Dangerous Loudspeaker" tag line really was effective.
I think they disappeared not due to tone quality, but lack of bass response.
If I can find the curve, I will post it.. but it was long ago.
