Thanks for the suggestion. The bass horns are already positioned against the side walls in order to make them load into "quarter-space" instead of "half-space". In reality I would clearly prefer to leave the bass horns where they currently are - each horn weighs about 800 pounds....
Please note: the picture is an older setup; the bass horns are still there, but the Oris/AER MD3 combo is sold. When I had the Oris/AER's the crossover point was 160 Hz. At that time I could sit quite close to the bass horns without disturbing the integration between bass and mids. My current system (not pictured) - which, as you know, is under re-structuring - is crossed at 320 Hz, so I am forced to sit a bit further back in order to make the horns integrate properly.
