Is a non-vertical positioning of horns problematic?

Hello,

I am about to change my horn system. The bass horns (the rectagular ones in the drawing) are keepers, and since they are fairly large, some of the options I consider would involve NOT having the center of the horns constituting a straight vertical line simply because of lack of hight to the ceiling (please note that the listening position is pretty far away from the drivers, that is, about 5.5 meters or 18 feet).

Is such a non-vertical arangement of the drivers a serious problem or shouldn’t I worry? (Obviously I could experiment, but the large low mid horn has not been bought yet, and as an alternative I could consider a wide and not too high rectangular horn instead!?)

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards
Peter
