The horn was about 15 feet from my house, outdoors, so you get a little boost at 3m.
In this market( home) , I usually only measure at 1m, as it represents what you might hear in your home, without the ripples.
In PA, they are put on the top of the building mic at 30 feet.
I don't do this anymore as the 2m are enough to get the idea, without all that work.
I have also done "pit" measurements 1,3,10 meters to maintain load.
But I am old-- too much work for me now!
