High Efficiency Speaker Asylum Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place. |

Hi, seeking input from experienced speaker designers / cabinet builders. I have a pair of 12" Tannoy red drivers in sealed cabinets of a little less than 6 cubic feet (24" x 24" x 17"). Bass is a little absent and overall sound less than transparent. Am considering:
1) converting cabinets to bass reflex with the addition of tuned port(s)
2) leave cabinets unchanged, add a small sub
Also considering updating crossover caps and wiring to address transparency.
