JBL did fudge these. I am not sure, but I have never seen a 16ohm D123.
I am very interested in your MTM design.
It should sound great, but I think you might include a "Masher lens' if you can.
The D123 is a very efficient speaker.. see test curves in a 3.5 ft x 3.5ft mouth x 7ft length horn Vs other drivers
