The gap is on part to the big vent, and in part the floor.
Notice the reflex has it too. The gap looks deeper because the output is higher- 5dB higher past 200Hz. That is the idea of half of a horn.
You get the hit, and you get the bass. The half horn is matched to a JBL 2226, but the D130 will work.
I found it curious that the very loud 300-2kHz area of a D130 ( light cone-big motor) was swamped by the low end.
I chose 5cft for the ( BR) d130, as that was the best comprimise beteen some bass and no bass.
