RMAF Show short report.First, Although I have only been to a few shows this was a very well run show. Applause to the staff who organized the show!
Admitting a bias towards horns, here are a few systems I though were very good.
The Haig Audio Rodger Russel line arrays- a bit edgy at 2 kHz , but quite a nice speaker.
The Shiny little ball speakers ..Electro.. something…were very nice.
The MBL radial barrel stay speakers, crisp voice top end, but very low sensitivity.
The TAD 6†co-ax +woofers – the nicest direct radiator in the show- they did their home work.
And. “Duke†here at AA- A nice two way using the 11†TAD and a conical 1†horn driver top end… IMO the best value at the show.
And of course the Cogent True to Life.. I wish Harry Olson could hear this system.
It was a great show, in a great setting —and I am amazed how courteous all of the venders were to one another. Just a pleasure to associate with these people.
