Hi Dan,

Thanks for your suggestion regarding amplification. I must admit that I have not tried tubes, but my IcePower based semi-digital amps did not produce pronounced "s"-sounds on my previous speakers, so I do not think that the amps are the problem. Actually, I have tried a few other amps, and the ones I am using right now are the far the best I have tried. They do not sound "digital" in any negative sense of the word.

Having said that, I would like to try some tube amps at some time:-)
