I'm thinking that the "skin effect" is a bit too high in frequency to be of much concern for audio. And I would be afraid of the capacitance beteen the layers of foil more than anything else. Round wire just seems so simple and functional to me that its hard to beat.Crossovers are expensive enough without spending money that yields only small rewards.
Remember, I'm a "value" guy. The best products at the lowest costs.
