Dr. Geddes,My boys went out just listening - they reported back what they heard others saying. I don't think my boys would lie. They just relayed what they heard people saying. Period.
I'm sorry if you've been offended - I assure you that I wasn't offended when you came into our demo room and loudly announced to all those present your negative evaluation of the 704. In fact, when I came into your demo room and listened, you may recall that my comments were ALL positive, and I did NOT say anything to the contrary anywhere else in the show, even in my own demo room. I only wish you would have afforded me the same courtesy.
In fact, I have purposefully made certain that everyone knows that I was VERY impressed with your speakers, and thought that you have done an excellent job on them! I have even gone so far as to put a link to your site on my discussion board - I have that much respect for them.
