Like I said, if you were to make a part and then pull a mould off of it you will have better luck. A plug like the one you've pictured is too rigid and the angle is too steep.BTW, are you using PVA in addition to the wax? Hi-Temp wax followed by a couple liberal spray coats of PVA will help but with a plug like that it will still put up a fight.
