Allow me to sum up some of the reflectionsand i have put forward these last 2 weeks in my postings:

Welcome to the Zoo.....
I still feel that most speakers a way to brigh. for me tonal neutrality can be found in some headphones like my Sennheiser Hd 580
They might not be the last word in transparency but i find the tonal neutral and much warmer sounding than speakers,not in the sense that they have more bass than speakers but in the sense that they have less upper mid and treble.
Okay this i have already stated clearly in my earlier postings but after hearing the wonderfull Zu Druid's in Sweden i have formed a theory as to why; speaker manufacturer and most audiophiles seems willing to accept an uptilted spectral balance, with all the problems of schreeezzziness an incoherent sound which follows.
The Druids did show me that All the speakers i have heard in my hifi life till now a dynamically challenged to say the least.
So have formed this belief, That:

Speaker manufacturers:

Are trying to put LIFE (treble)into their products as a substitute for the missing LIVE feeling (micro dynamics)

Speaker manufacturers:

Are trying to put PRECENCE (treble) into their product as substitute for the missing feeling of musician being PRESENT (micro/macro dynamics)
