Hello, the horn throats are 6" in diameter and the tiny compression chambers (baltic birch) are .3 cubic feet less the driver. No lining in the compression chamber. There is a 3/4" piece of maple plywood between the cone and the horn throat that is cut out for the full cone area of the Altec. The front "gap" between the horn and the driver is filled with felt. They are nearly dead flat from 200 to 800 cycles setup like this and roll off very smoothly above 800 with a 1.5 mh inductor. They are warmer and less "hi-fi" sounding than the Adamson drivers you heard.
