I have a recording of Buddy Rich doing a live drum solo from when I was booking entertainment for the college. About ten years ago, I gave a copy to someone (don't remember who) and now it's floating around on the Internet. It's a long (at least 6 minutes) solo from the West Side Story medley. And then, there's "Big Band Percussion" by the Ted Heath band. Mono, from 1962. I haven't played it yet - just got it last weekend.
Edit: And check out Stockton Helbing. He was the late great Maynard Ferguson's drummer, and is currently Doc Severinsen's drummer, as well as having CDs of his own. www.stocktonhelbing.com. He lives just up the road from me.
And, of course there's the wild man himself, Steve Gadd.
