Your Lowther setup sounds similar to Jon Van Halen's OB that he had at last Summer's VSAC. That was just about the best sounding setup I heard there.
I've also heard Lew Hardy's Vivaldi speakers several times and believe that they may be the best Lowther based speakers I've ever heard. One thing about the Vivaldi's is that they can do very good bass, which Lew demonstrated with the Sheffield Lab's Drum CD played very loud. The speakers had to be at least 12 feet from the nearest wall in a big room.
I've really gained a lot of respect for Lowther speakers, based on those two. Very nice indeed.
