RE: Lowther in BLH (like Medallion) and digital EQ?

I am not sure that you could raise the high frequencies high enough for the Lowthers to be flat to 20khz as the roll off is very steep above 10khz. If you could, and the sound was clean, it could avoid the need of a super tweeter.

I would not try to put more lower frequencies through the Lowther, even if the driver could "handle it." In my Hedlund Horns, I rolled off the sound to them at about 80 hz and it helped to clean up the midrange (reduced dopler distortion). I think that if you did the opposite, to increase the input to the Lowthers to get flat to 40 hz, that you would really kill the great midrange.
