What about the Medallion 3 speakers with the aurum cantus tweeter? it uses some kind of EQing according to the lowther America site? Somebody here that has experience with them? does the Passive EQ deal with the famous lowther shout? and does the tweeter add something significant?
The medallion goes down to 65Hz and than rolls off I presume. Now, I have 2 15inch woofers I could use for a closed sub and cross them around 50Hz with the Lowthers, that would result in a wonderful system I would say, very dynamic, deep and punchy bass and nice highs and ofcourse the wonderful midrange of the lowthers and no shout?. An allround system.
