I don't doubt that it can be done. I just checked the Vivaldi site,
and, while the secondary windows weren't available, I believe it uses
two Lowthers per side. My point is that my Medallion II cabinets don't
provide effective loading down to 40 hz. In that case, more driver
excursion would not result in effective extension, regardless of
of EQ boost of any type with adequate power. With cabinets that do
provide and effective load, excursion with excessive distortion
would probably provide the limit to extension. Two drivers per side
would be a big boost in that situation. I'd love to hear them.
