I've heard these speakers several times and they are my all-time Lowther Speakers as well as being one of my favorites...period. Lew Hardy of Vivaldi Audio has taken the road less traveled and came up with a winner. They go loud and they go low and that's way out in the room, not rammed into a corner. I'm assuming that if it can be done with passive componets then I suppose that it's possible to do it in the digital domain. It's really a waste of time mentioning these, as I'm sure some "expert" will assure me that I don't have a clue. But the Sheffield "Drum" test CD was played with authority and without compression at over 10 feet from the nearest wall. If you're wondering, I requested this selection just to see how they'd do, as I had trouble believing that "any" Lowther could cope with this (I was wrong).
Anyway, trythis URL: www.vivaldiaudio.com
