I didn't work out a fine-tuned crossover design, but I have no doubt that it would have sounded good. The frequency response was quite extended especially for a 2" throat driver. The 4001 really is a lovely driver.The speaker was a prototype for a possible commercial venture, and when I figured out how much it was going to cost to produce, and thence how much it would retail for, I wasn't confident that the final product would be competitive in its price range. So I sold the TAD 4001 drivers and started investigating lower priced alternatives.
