That's pretty interesting. I bet with a little judicious tweaking (& I wonder if a little absorptive material to control response in the front chamber above 500hz wouldn't be a bad thing), some of the notches could be minimized.I'm curious just how far you could push LC before the Samson amp starts 'ratcheting' at high levels. If you found that point, you could back off maybe 10% or so & be in pretty good shape. Maybe you could gain a couple db more response that way and/or, even better, another 5hz which I bet would sound good on a 12" Karlson cabinet. Be a real LF outperformer for it size then - even embarrass Klipschorn bass head to head in some ways.
