Thanks for the interesting post and details. I did want to comment on the CLF data. I don't believe it will figure directivity in reference to full spacial radiation, but the display will plot directivity vs. frequency in the lower window for H & V planes. I'm not sure if you played around with the viewer much, but the upper right ballon can be shaded, and clicked and rotated to just about any vantage point as well as zoomed. You can easily orient the balloon and then step through the frequency increments, seeing what changes. I can't think of too many artifacts that can't be easily seen in this display.
