Jusbe,The Avantgardes are not hard nor have those "hi-fi tricks" like Theils and others use to sound more impressive. IMHO, you MUST carefully setup and most important of all, use really top quality proper synergy components. i have heard the Beau at a few shows. Lowthers are wonderful indeed, yet i have a feeling they are like most Lowther designs in that there is a blip in the 1-2kHz range and they also are not as finiky in upstream gear. They are more forgiving. Maybe i can get Steve, their US Dist. to send me a pair for review?
Enjoy the music,
Steven R. Rochlin
