Last weekend I heard the AG Duo and Trio. I was seriously impressed by the Trios which I must rank among the best speakers I ever heard.
They never, never get on your nerve! There is no resonance, no booming, no shouting. They don't sound like speakers. Many of you know that I use Lowther DX4 in my Spiral Horns. The Lowthers are very good, but they have their edges - too much treble, lack of bass and a serious problem with complex loud signals (Verdi: Requiem). Check your music taste - is there music that you avoid simply because the Lowther doesn't like it?
At the moment I use Manger MSW in the spiral horns. It has less problems with complex signals and much more bass. It can make you feel the bass - deep and hard as it needs to be. But the AG Trios are simply another dimension...
I have written a review on the Trios in german. See the link below if you like.
