Hello,If you want reproduce live music you may want to reach 120dB on peak.
That is, if you listen to uncompressed records (if you record yourself by example...).
In that case if you start from a 105dB/1W/1m system then you need an amplifier of more than 32watts
Now if you listen only to heavily compressed commercial music then probably 105dB is enough for you and a one watter amplifer is sufficient.
