Theres got to be plenty of people who could build or learn to build molds. Its all on the net somewhere (like everything). Whether it was using lost wax method, sand cast, "yo whats up doood?" method or whatever! Would be more expensive if a metal mold was made (which would allow more copies), but probably not terribly so. Plastic is probably cheaper to mold/cast than metal too. I remember an industrial engineering class I had a long time ago where we did some of this stuff.
Given all the work they put into making these things individually, a mold would be a lot easier.

Havent seen any in pro-sound yet.
