Older speakers

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

Hello there,
A question about older speakers. In searching for nice used high effic. speakers, are there certian things to be looking for on older equipment? I keep seeing people recommend klipsch heresy's, are there others that stand out as great used speakers? Is there a certian design that is more reliable than another? Also, is it expected that good speakers are inherently heavy? I'm worried about large shipping costs if I can't find stuff locally.
This is going to be used on a small integrated tube, about 25 watts. The room is roughly 12 x 12 playing light rock, blues, a little jazz. oh, and the budget's around 400-500 bucks if possible. Thanks for any info. -Todd
